Solace Veterinary Services is a house call veterinary practice that utilizes the most current therapies in pain management and palliative care to help terminally ill and aging pets live their best life possible, when every day matters. We also provide support, education and guidance for the human family members. We help create an environment for a safe, caring and intimate end-of-life experience for pets in the comfort of their familiar home environment.

Dr. Karen Randall DVM
Dr. Karen Randall is a graduate of Colorado State University Veterinary School. She has been a small animal practitioner and practice owner for over 20 years. Her most recent practice was in the Minneapolis area providing in-home veterinary hospice and euthanasia services.
Dr. Randall is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care, and the International Academy of Veterinary Pain Management. She believes very strongly in advancing veterinary hospice and palliative care as a specialty. She has also volunteered in the Hospice/Karuna program at Children’s Hospitals of Minnesota and as a bereavement support group facilitator with Holy Cross Hospice.
Dr. Randall derives great satisfaction in working closely with her patients and their families to provide a personalized approach to the challenges of aging and terminal illness. Dr. E. Kathryn Meyer VMD
Dr. E. Kathryn Meyer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. She has worked in the field of veterinary behavior since 2000. She joined Solace Veterinary Services in 2017.
